Posterchild
Posterchild's new project using the "Stained Glass". He placed a variation of the Stained Glass over HD screens installed over subway entrances in New York. It basically difusses the light of the screen and turns the video ads in an animated stained glass piece.

Music You Should All Be Listening To
Flying Lotus - a new sound coming outta Los Angeles. Electronica-Dub-Laptop based music. Smooth as anything.
The motherfucking Gas Lamp Killer, also from L.A. creates psychedelic-soul-dub hop with a hint of craziness. Just released on the newly formed Obey Records.
J Dilla (Jay Dee) R.I.P. This hip-hop producer was so fucking talented and to have him taken away from us at the tender age of 32 is really sad and a huge loss to the hip-hop community. An amazing artist, whose collaborations with the likes of Madlib (They created Jaylib) will forever be one of my ultimate fave albums.
Monster Delorean
If you actually owned a Delorean, would you want to give it monster wheels & chassis? persoanlly, I wouldn't, but this nutter has obviously decided that bigger is better when you go back to the past and into the future.
(Mad Max would have loved this as his car ;)

China Graffiti
Xeme
Ive been really interested to see how the relatively new style of writing in Chinese characters would evolve over the years. Some of the guys I know, who are trying to promote the interest of Chinese-styled graffiti are Otoss, Xeme, C# & Redy.
Xeme
The cool thing about panting Chinese is that you can paint a character and it means the same as a full English word. So if you put two or more Chinese characters together, it would be the same as a whole English sentence. The potential for strange tag names is huge.
C#
Although it is in its infancy, I reckon its always a good thing to try and apply influences from your own countries cultures to help progress creativity.

Dr Romanelli X Bearbrick
Normally, I'm not a big fan of Bearbricks, (I only own one 400%), but Dr. Romanelli smashes it with his latest design. Approx. £12 for the small set and £27 for the 400% (28cm tall) version. Not bad going for such a retarded looking bear!

The Decapitator
I am loving this guy's work at the moment. The Decapitator has been operating round east London for a while now and he is getting better.
Thought this London Paper hijack was a good alternative way to get up.

Tattoo Guns
The tattoo artist needs to be armed with a gun/machine/iron that can translate his concept to the skin and I think that these various machines look and probably work wickedly!
A bit of Steampunk/Death Metal aesthetics by Bernhards Garage Irons. I absolutely love these designs!
Tattoo Gun design by Don Morley
Palm OS Robotic Tattoo Machine
Home-made Prison Tattoo Gun.
And for all those Toy Tattoo Artists, here's something you should probably start on first!

Cool Oriental Concept PC
This product targets the entire 1.3 billion Chinese population. Each aspect of the hardware derives from an oriental inspiration which improves the PC experience for the targeted market. The hardware features a “No CPU, No Hard drive, No Graphics Card and No Sound Card” concept. These PC components are stored in a Service Provider of the new infrastructure.
Thus, subscribing to a plan of the Service Provider will allow the use of these components. The data from the components is then wirelessly transmitted to the user’s hardware. Thus, all PCs are administered by the Service Provider. MADE stands for Massively Administered Digital Entities.
A very original idea and a great take on the fact that everyone knows how to use chopsticks in China. Let's see if this idea makes it off the drawing board.

Ronzo Show
‘DISSTOPIA’, is Ronzo’s first UK solo show, and opens at the StolenSpace Gallery on the 20th June with a private view tonight the 19th June.
The show will feature a new body of work based on visions of an apocalyptic future set in the wastelands of what is once believed to have been the city of London. The new paintings, collages and drawings examine not only the ruins of the architectural landscape as we know it, but focus on the human aspect of life in a society, the day after. Avoiding all the common clichés usually attached to this subject, Ronzo’s unique figures, characters and life forms tell their own stories. The little narratives, sometimes humorous, sometimes sad take us to very strangely familiar places. The concept of the show plays with our fears and hopes of an uncertain, not to distant future.
Ronzo’s creations are previously unseen and unlike any other. It is a post-graffiti future vision of a vandal from a street level perspective. The work is a fusion of the figurative and abstract. Some of the works are three-dimensional mixed-media collages using objects and surfaces taken directly from the street and affixed to the painting itself. In some parts Ronzo’s paintings are precise, technical and detailed while in others they are kept loose and seem almost unfinished. This allows the viewer room for interpretation and provides the opportunity for them to form their own opinion. The drawings are generated in a spontaneous and rough manner, as the artist describes: “Although there is always a general idea in place before I start a drawing, the outcome is ever so uncertain. When the pen hits the surface an intuitive journey begins.”
The show aims to stimulate as well as to reflect and sharpen our view of today’s society.
The show runs until 06th of July. Get your arse down there!

The Seventh Day Project
NORM 06.08
RETNA 05.08
EWOK 03.08
The best of the "Seventh Day Project" 2008 by TSL Films. Since April 2007, TSL Films have released a new short film every 7th of the month, featuring artists related to the Seventh Letter Crew. These three are my faves of this year so far. Enjoy!

Ashley Wood X Three Zero Toys
I am also loving Three Zero/threeA's present and future toy releases with Ashley Wood. He blends the old and new schools of war and mecha into a dark fantasy world inhabited by scary-looking robots and even scarier looking humans.
This guy, called "NOM de PLUME" is a 12" figure apparently known as the faceless commander of the Dirty Deeds Platoon will have an extremely limited run of probably only approx. 50 pieces.
Bertie the pipebomb has an incredible 40 points of articulation and looks bad-ass.
Brambleton looks set to be a wicked mecha walker! See the first release at this years SDCC 2008.
Reminds me alot of Maschinen Krieger (MaK) series from Japan.
Purchase everything and see more artwork from Bambaland.
