Betrand: Air Whale
Matt Jones created this really fun piece of work from garbage bags.

"We breathed life into Bertrand, but sadly, he didn't take flight. He tragically insisted upon beaching himself, and we ended up putting him out of his misery."

"The idea was for him to be a solar hot air balloon, the air inside heating up and lifting him. I'm confident the main problem is too much mass of plastic in the pectoral fins, and tapered tail relative to how much volume of air those areas hold."

Digigrade Leg Extensions
If you've watched the Disney version of The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe you'll remember the shot of Mr. Tumnus the faun stamping the snow off his goat-like legs. I am assuming that CG special effects were used for that shot, but there is now a new way to play a satyr.
The Digigrade Leg Extensions are made of steel, cable, and foam. They allow a user “the uncanny and graceful appearance of an animal”. Side effects include adding 14 inches to the user’s height, and a temporary lack of balance. How long? According to Seattle artist Kim Graham, she says that these legs take about 10 or 15 minutes to get used to.
There are no plans to mass-market these new legs, but these specially made goat legs will cost in the neighborhood of US$775, or US$1,000 with the artificial and oversized hooves.

Graffiti Tourist: Burkina Faso
Only one example of graffiti here, but I thought I should include it in my list, because of the rarity factor.
Found in the capital Ouagadougou (pronounced Wa-gair-du-goo)
I'm impressed by this guys graf skills.

Pandora is Dead

I am a sad sad man today. Saturday morning is the perfect time to put the amazing Pandora radio station on and get on with something creative. However, for all Pandora's users outside of the USA, we have been officially switched off. Due to licensing restrictions, we can no longer listen to Pandora outside of the US. Gutted! Surely, there must be a huge demand for a Pandora UK branch. Anyone interested?
