Discovered in 1992, this pulsar is flying through a gas cloud and producing a shock wave that looks, at a closer inspection, like a guitar. Scientists have now deduced that the pulsar's path indicates that 800,000 years ago it was fired from a cluster of massive stars that now lies about 6500 light years away from Earth.[VIA]
